Who wants to talk about Redcoat (2024) 4?! Did you see the George Washington reveal coming? Why does he want to burn down America? Why are the cultists obviously disposable henchmen? Has the magic drove Washington mad? -Nick W www.ghostmachinefans.com

I'm all for it. Redcoat was my introduction to Ghost Machine and is probably my favorite. Although, Geiger is a close second, probably due to the fact that he has the most canon of all the characters. I definitely saw George Washington reveal coming, although I also wondered if it was Ben Franklin somehow. It'll be interesting to see why George is on the "wrong side of history" as we know it. I'm ready for Redcoat #5 this week!

Yeah that shark cover is sweet. Very excited to read this issue. We’ve told that issue seven will be a turning point for the character and this is leading up to that. As I’ve started to realize how complex Simon’s journey can become, it’s made the book appeal more to me.

Yes, the shark cover is definitely awesome, the artistry of these comics is second to none.
I'm excited to see what the turning point is. I haven't caught up to the most recent podcast yet, but I was just googling Simon Pure to look for a specific picture and came across a cool little nugget that I'm not sure has been discussed anywhere before. simon-pure is actually a word in Merriam-Webster's dictionary. It's an adjective that means: of untainted purity or integrity. From the sounds of listening to the podcasts talking about the creators and how they do nothing by accident, I wonder if his turning point will be that he turns away from his constant running away from conflict and becomes the one who is spearheading the attempted prevention of the coast to coast burning of the country and learns all the abilities of his "curse" with Albert like the firefly trick in the first scene of Redcoat #1.
Speaking of Redcoat #1 I really hope they tell us what happened to the other immortal founding fathers. That splash page with John Hancock's utter destruction of those British soldiers was epic. But knowing what we know now makes me think that John Hancock is not a good guy.

O man. I just got done reading Redcoat #5. I feel like I should have seen the grand architect twist coming. What another incredible issue that I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.

Has anyone thought about Redcoat #2, and why Albert would just randomly pick up the Axe of Lies after it hits Simon? Is it only because he recognized the symbols on it from his research? Or is there something more that will be revealed in future issues? That occurrence of events has always bugged me a little bit.
