We saw the on-panel debut of President Griffin last week in Geiger (2024) 5! However, he was wrapped in bandages... Some have theorized that he IS the First Ghost. First Ghost is an upcoming title from Ghost Machine written by Brad Meltzer. In President Sarah Nash's bio page in Ghost Machine (2024) 1, it is mentioned that she discovers the First Ghost when moving into the White House. Could it be President Griffin? Or perhaps the ghost of a former president or first lady? Sarah Nash did have an intense experience when she was in space...before becoming the president... Nick W www.ghostmachinefans.com

That reveal of President Griffin blew my mind and got me even more excited for what I can only imagine is his involvement in First Ghost. The wrapped in bandages part has me agreeing in the thought that he is the First Ghost (ie Invisible Man).
I'm excited to see how Brad Meltzer will contribute to the world of Ghost Machine. I'm not a conspiracy theorist per se, but enjoy the possibilities that it would entail. I loved the show Decoded that he was the host of. I'm new to comics, so i haven't read any of the comics he's written although i briefly looked and saw he wrote a controversial but very popular DC Comics arc.
I haven't looked into this too deep yet, but the timeline for The Unnamed has Widow X has her revenge. I think that President Sarah Nash is Widow X. I cant remember specifics without the comics in front of me, but i feel like i remember her coming into office in 1997.
I also love the nuggets that keep being dropped for Junkyard Joe's possible creator The Custodian.

Yep in Ghost Machine #1 it notes Sarah Nash’s first appearance will be First Ghost #1. In the bio itself it alludes to her encountering First Ghost once she is in the White House. This is also prior to the Unknown War as far as we can tell, so 30 years prior to the events of the current Geiger ongoing series.
Also Mark from Legion of Comics pointed out that the Invisible Man’s name in HG Wells’ novel is Griffin. It seems like an homage/allusion to that.
When we meet him he’s also in “South Virginia” at a different White House. All that explained could lead to him being First Ghost…!

Oooo, I love the HG Wells reference, I was unaware. So much thought was placed into each and every breadcrumb in these books.
It will be interesting to see if there are multiple "Presidents" in this world. Like during the American Civil War the US had Abe Lincoln as president, but the South also had Jefferson Davis as president. Geiger has already referenced different "sections" of the United States so could there be 2, 3, or more "Presidents" in power?

So it looks like the bandages are not because he's invisible or a ghost. It does seem that there's some history tied directly with Geiger though.
